YEAR A | SEMESTER A | STUDIO A
Guidance: arch Dan Hasson, arch Aliel Kaye arch, and Bar Mussan Levy.
This studio centered around the space connection men and plants, we studied different growing techniques
and about the difference in scale between men and plant - Big compared to small.
My focus was Basil, (Ocimum Basilicum) I documented it's growth in different environments, by placing the grown basil in suspended clear plastic cups in a shape of a dome, I allowed 1 user to interact with the growing Basil in an safe enclosed space.
Combining the dome-like shape structure with the water filled plastic cups created a personal eco chamber.
The project was made with 436 Basil cutlings (Both Basil and Purple Basil) sitting inside rockwool and suspended from the ceiling using 0.3mm fishing line and metal nets.
